Puglia
This amusing hand painted lamp base is from Puglia in Southern Italy. The majolica from Puglia is perhaps our most quirky and expressive and derives from a long history of ceramic statuary from pre Christian times. *Slight imperfections in the pieces may occur. This is due to the hand-crafted approach of each ceramic artisan and their unique glazing and firing techniques. |
